This position will be part of the APAC Global Business Finance team reporting to the Director, Sales Compensation Planning, Bangalore and supporting the Country Managing Director for his License, Cloud and Hardware Sales organization on business areas through financial analysis, budgeting, planning and forecasting, facilitating decision making and future business strategies. As a member of Oracle APAC GBF’s finance organization, you will be part of the finance team and drive key cross functional business practices. You will be able to: SPOC : be the single point of contact for all comp plan queries from sales reps/ managers. You will be the Go to” person for sales team on their compensation queries : “when” , “how” and “how much” Understand the process and be in a position to suggest “way forward” on compensation queries Collaborate with LOB finance business partner on any questions on quantum of “quota” Provide financial support for planning and control with regard to compensation Coordinate quota setting for region and drive Plan acceptance Verify Commission forecast and actual tracking Track any exception requests CERT/others thru the year; Participate in cross functional programs and projects Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Strong Power-point, Excel skills and proficiency in Oracle Financials. Strong analysis and research skills. Ability to partner across functions. 8-10 years relevant work experience. BA/BS degree in Finance or Accounting preferred. CPA/MBA highly desired. English, Chinese language proficiency mandatory
