The SCC provides support to the APAC presales organizations in the various countries. On day to day basis you will work closely with presales counterparts on a wide range of tasks, the major parts of which are: Responding to Customer Requests for Proposals; Providing commercially savvy answers to solution/product questions posed by customers to aid their selection of new products/solutions Developing custom demos for specific customer opportunities. Translating the customer requirement into a scenario to show to the customer. Developing these prototypes in a very short timeframe Delivering product training to partners over the web Answering technical (pre-sales oriented) questions about Oracle’s products and solutions A significant portion of your time will also be used to stay up to date on the latest product releases & Oracle’s strategy. This is done through self study, online training, classroom trainings depending on the topic. To fulfill the role of a Databasepre-salesconsultant, we are looking for individuals that match the following profile: Technical/Non Technical: Must:Comprehensive technical knowledge of Database - strong preference for DBA background OptionalHave MYSQL experienceDatabase development skill base on PL/SQLHigh Available, backup, performance-tuning skills on Oracle DB.
